GOD HAS SET AN APPOINTED TIME FOR EVERYTHING

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.  A time to kill, and a time to heal.  A time to break down, and a time to build up.  A time to weep, and a time to laugh.  A time to mourn, and a time to dance.  A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together.  A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.  A time to get, and a time to lose.  A time to keep, and a time to cast away.  A time to rend, and a time to sew.  A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.  A time to love, and a time to hate.  A time of war, and a time of peace"
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

As I was reading the Word of God this morning it became vividly clear to me that the LORD has appointed a time for all things.  I was in the 9th chapter of the Book of Exodus, verse 5 that says, "And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, "Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land."  I feel pressed in my spirit to write what the LORD would have me to write this morning.  Things are winding up in this country.  It is time to seek the LORD as never before for He has set an appointed time in this land.

Why are we surprised by all the things going on in this world?  Are you searching the Scriptures?  In them hold all of what we are seeing with our own eyes displayed upon our television screens and newspapers.  Let's go to the Scriptures.  2 Timothy 3: 1-7  "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lover of God.  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts.  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

I don't have to add or take away from the word of God.  It stands as it is.  We are beholding in our nation these very things right now.  Are we not living in the last days?  God's appointed time has been set.  None of us knows when He will return but we are clearly seeing the signs.  (Read also Matthew 24, Luke 21).    Things are not going to get any better.  The word of God will be fulfilled.

"Seek you the LORD while He may be found, call you upon Him while He is near.  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon"
Isaiah 55: 6-7

"Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters; they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger, they are gone away backward.  Why should you be stricken any more?  you will revolt more and more:  the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.  From the sole of your foot even to the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and puterfying sores:  they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.  Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire:  your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers."
Isaiah 1: 4-7

God gives us an answer that you can have victory through His Son Jesus Christ.  "Come now, and let us reason together", says the LORD:  "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as while as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.  But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword:  for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it"  Isaiah 1: 18-20.

God has set an appointed time for everything, even the day we will die.  Have you accepted Him into your heart today?  Do you know that if this was your appointed day to meet Him, will you be ready?  Why not take a moment right now where you are to be sure of your date with destiny.  "That if you shall confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved"  Romans 10: 9-10, 13

Pray this prayer with me:  "Father God, I confess with my mouth right now and believe in my heart that you sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins.  LORD, cleanse and wash me from all my sins.  I believe Your Word God.  I confess and believe that I am now saved and am a new creature in You.  In Jesus name.  Amen"

Believe it now my new brother or sister.  Get in a good church and let God continue to show you His will for your life.  If you are in need of a bible I have a few available.  Send me an email at dailymannafromheaven@gmail.com

AT JESUS' FEET

"Now it came to pass, as they went, that He entered into a certain village:  and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard His word.  But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to Him, and said, Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?  bid her therefore that she help me.  And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things:  but one thing is needful and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her"
Luke 10: 38-42

My family and I recently moved into our new home.  There were many days when I was pulled in every direction trying to get moved in before Christmas, which is also around the time that the cold weather comes.  It was hectic and nerve wracking, to say the least.  There were early mornings and late nights.  It would have been so easy to put off the most important things, which was my prayer and bible study.  My body was tired but my spirit remained strong.  I knew that rest was important but I couldn't rest from prayer and the word.  They were needful.

I always loved reading the story of Mary and Martha.  When life gets busy, as it often does, that passage is a good reminder where our main perspective should be.  We have to live our life and there are duties and responsibilities that we must take care of, but the Devil will take advantage if we're not careful.  He wants us to neglect what's most important in life.  Satan does not want us to spend anytime with the Lord.  Like Mary we must choose that good part and find our place at Jesus' feet no matter how crazy things get.
"I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer"
Martin Luther

Satan robs us of our victory by having us believe that everything else is more important than to sit at the Master's feet and hear the word.  If you're a busy career woman or a man who works all day to support your family, why not rise a bit earlier each morning and set aside that time for prayer and meditation.  Sure, it will take some commitment, but it is the best thing you can do to keep that passion for Jesus Christ burning in your heart.  When you start your day off with prayer and bible study no matter what happens throughout the remainder of the day you will be blessed and have a peace and calm about everything.  Don't get me wrong, the Devil is not going to stop trying to get you frustrated and upset about this and that, but because you took time to pray and put God first your battles will already be won.

My prayer for you today is that you set aside time each morning for prayer and bible study. Why not get up 30 minutes earlier before your day gets too busy.  Keep things in perspective.  Put God first.  There should be nothing that's more important.  The Lord wants a relationship with us but sometimes we can get so busy that we forget the most vital meaning to our life and that's to have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let our first choice be Him.

Don't Lose Heart

"And He spoke a parable to them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.  Saying, "There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man; And there was a widow in that city, and she came to him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.  And he would not for a while, but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.  And the LORD said, "Hear what the unjust judge says.  And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night to Him, though He bear long with them?  I tell you' that He will avenge them speedily.  Nevertheless when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?"
Luke 18: 1-8

Have you ever felt like giving up?  Have you prayed and prayed to God about some particular thing or problem and it seems that He's never going to send the answer?  I know that I have, and we have all been there.  It's so easy to get confused and wonder if the LORD is hearing our prayers because it sometimes seem that the answers doesn't come fast enough.  It's then that we have to hold on and keep the faith.  One thing that I do realize is that I know that God hears me and that He will send an answer but on His own time.

"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us:  And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him"
I John 5: 14-15

God does not work on our time-table.  But, it is so easy to lose heart when we pray and don't get the answers as quickly as we would like.  It is then time to lay that anchor deep and have faith that the LORD will answer us.  There are some petitions that I have put before Him that I refuse to give up on, such as the salvation of my family.  Some years ago I wrote down all the names of my family and put them into my prayer handkerchief and asked the LORD to save them.  As I sit here today and write there are still names there that haven't found Christ yet.  The day will come when they are saved and living a victorious life in Jesus Christ and I refuse to give up on them.  The LORD didn't give up on me.  We must not give up when it seems that the answers aren't coming quick enough.

Perhaps you may be praying for loved ones to be saved, or you may need vindication from your enemies who torment you constantly.  It may be that you're praying for a besetting sin that you can't seem to get the victory over.  I'm here to encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and don't stop praying.  He says, "Those who cry unto Me day and night, though I bear long with them, I will avenge them speedily, but will you hold on and know that I'm a God that don't lie?  I will come to you; I will answer, but will I find you trusting Me with all your heart or will you only put your faith in what you can see?"
The LORD is just.  Would you put your faith in man's word and not God's?  In this life I have been promised many things by people and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and believed that they would perform what they said they would do.  Many times though I have been let down because they went back on their word.  It was hard to trust them again.  But God is not like man.  What He says He will do.  We as humans can be impatient in waiting for the answers.
"God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent:  has He said, and shall He not do it?  Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?"
Numbers 23:19

Friends, God honors our faith.  Faith is not something that can be seen but it's trusting that the LORD hears and will answer us when it seems all the cards are stacked against us.  He is speaking to you today to not lose heart.  Don't give up if you're not getting the answers right now.  Sometimes the moment we decide to give up is right before God comes with the answer.  He has promised to hear our cries.  He will not let you down.  Continue praying to Him.  He sees all that you're going through.  He has not deserted you.  He loves you and cares for you.  Keep holding on and stay anchored in His Word.

Basking In The Presence of God

When I look around and consider what are the most important things in life, I need not look any further than within my own heart for in it I find the joy and peace of the LORD Jesus Christ.  Each morning that He wakes me is a new awareness of who He is to me and how much I want to be in His presence.  When the world turns cold, as it has (you can't turn on your television without seeing and hearing such cruel hatred and violence) I know that there is a place that I can go and be alone with God.

"Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you:  hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast"
Isaiah 26:20

Even if I didn't have the sanctity of my prayer closet there is still plenty of places that I can get alone with God.  Before moving here to our new home my sacred place was the field just adjacent to our old house where I walked and talked to the LORD on many occasion.  If the weather did not permit that, then I would wake up early and go into the living room and kneel at my sofa with my bible and note book.  I always made a place where it was just me and God.

With the way things are going in this world today I hope to encourage you to find a place to be alone and bask in the presence of God on a daily basis.  Sometimes it appears everything is going crazy in our society.  Corruption, murder, lying, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, abortion, and just all evil imaginable is happening right under our noses and before our eyes.  I can't go a day without hearing someone else has committed suicide, or some mother has abandoned her children somewhere, or violence has taken over another neighborhood with these street gangs.  There's blacks against whites, whites against blacks, blacks against blacks, and just hatred for all that is good.  We have lost our moral decency in this country.  Our schools are plum run over with evil.  It's plain sickening.  I know at times people wonder why I take praying so seriously.  I will just answer by saying just look at our nation and how far we have fallen.  Sin has become our ruin in this country.

I encourage you to make the time to get alone with God.  Whether we admit it or not God has been good to all of us.  One day He will pull back His arm of protection and we will find all our money, prestige, and fortunes we have amounted in bulk won't be able to save us.  It won't mean anything when it come our time to leave this world.  What will matter is how we spend our time now.  Are we seeking to really know God or is it just a Sunday, one day a week thing?

"Not every one that says to Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Your name?  and in Your name have cast out devils?  and in Your name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess to them, I never knew you:  depart from Me, you that work iniquity"
Matthew 7: 21-23

One day it is going to be too late.  Now is the accepted time to find God in that secret place and get to really know Him.  You don't get to really know someone until you are willing to spend time with them in their presence.  If you want to truly know God, then start spending time alone with Him.  You may say, "I'm just too busy and I have too much going on to take time to do that".  Well listen I always say, and it's a true saying, 'you will make time for what you deem really important' so when you say and make excuses about time what you are really saying is "God, you're not more important than my work or career or family" or whatever we may make excuses for.

The LORD Jesus Christ wants a relationship with each one of us.  He wants us all to experience what it is like to bask in His presence.  What could be more important than that?  My prayer for you today is that you deem it important enough to get to really know this great man we call Jesus.  He's ready to bless you by inviting you upon that mountaintop with Him.  Friends, why not today?
