How do we get to know God?
To get to really know anybody you must spend time with them. It is the same with God. There is a big difference between knowing about God and knowing Him personally. The LORD seeks out an intimate relationship with all of His children. We must be willing to get up to Him as closely as we possibly can. We serve a God that desires that we talk to Him daily and get to know Him through His Word. In return He will walk and talk with us and bless us abundantly.
"Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Your name? And in Your name have cast out devils? And in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity"
Matthew 7: 22-23
