Read (Psalm 145: 1-18)
God always reminds me that no matter how many times I mess up, that He stands ready to forgive. I'm my biggest critic. At times I'm way too hard on myself. The Lord is teaching me to forgive and to be kind to myself. He does not condemn us when we fall. His attributes: Gracious. Full of love. Slow to get angry. Merciful.
Seeing we have such a God as this, there's no need to berate and belittle ourselves when we fail.
"The Lord upholds all that fall, and raises up all those that be bowed down. The Lord is near to all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth"
Psalm 145: 14, 18
How refreshing to know of the unfailing love of God! He loves you today and His mercy is everlasting! When you start to get down on yourself, let Him teach you how you are viewed through His eyes. Learn to forgive yourself!
