PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS

Read (I Timothy 2: 1-8)

Today our President-Elect Donald J. Trump becomes the 45th President of the United States of America.  We also welcome his new cabinet, the men and women who will be advising the President on many important issues facing our nation.  Whether or not he was your candidate of choice, we are to stand behind our new Commander In Chief with our prayers.

If ever there was a time to pray for America, it is now.  With the rise of terrorist groups (ISIS), racial tensions, increase in crime and violence in our streets, it is no time to get lax.  We are urged to pray....and to pray fervently.  Those in authority face many difficult decisions to make, and some of them are not always right.  It is our responsibility to stand behind our nation in prayer.

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.  For kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives"
I Timothy 2: 1-2

I encourage you all, as our President, Donald J. Trump is sworn in today, that we back him, and our nation, with our prayers!
