Even Jesus' closest disciples, men and women who traveled with Him during His earthly ministry, didn't always follow His example. There were times when they bickered and complained among themselves. They doubted His words and misunderstood His ministry. Yes, they denied that they ever knew Him.
Nonetheless, Jesus' healing forgiveness and compassion was there for them just as it is for all of us. Ask Him and He will teach us all how to walk in His footsteps because if we follow in His pathways, we'll never be lost.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you; leaving you an example that you should follow in His steps. Where He leads me I will follow all the way. God bless you all.
