JESUS IS STILL ON BOARD

"Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples:  and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake.  And they launched forth.  But as they sailed he fell asleep:  and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.  And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish.  Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water:  and they ceased, and there was a calm.  And he said unto them, Where is your faith?  And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this!  for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him"

St. Luke 8:22-25

There will be many times in your walk with God when you feel He is not there.  The storms of life will be raging against you.  You may wonder, "O, Lord, where are you?  Don't you see that I'm suffering?  Don't you see how much pain that I'm in?  Lord, how can you sleep during a time like this?"

Brothers and sisters, know that Jesus is always there.  There will  be seasons when you will be tried.  Just because we are saved it doesn't mean that things will always be good.  We will all go through storms.  We will all feel that our boat is about to sink.  Just remember that  Jesus is in control of our storms.  The wind and waves has to obey His command.  He will not let you go under.  When we continue to watch the raging of the wind and water, it is then that we begin to sink.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you:  and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you:  when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you"  (Isaiah 43:2)

Keep the faith in Jesus Christ.  He has promised to never leave nor forsake us.  Jesus is still on board!
