NEVER ALONE

There are times when we all feel alone, that no one understands, and times when we want to reach out but fear that people just won’t get what we’re going through.  Have you ever felt this way?

The Word of God states, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19)  I have had days when it seemed as if the rains would never stop.  There was a period in my life when I encountered trial after trial.  When one thing got fixed, then something else came up.  It was like an endless cycle of troubles.

In those moments, I read lots of Scriptures and I was always comforted.  You see, God will never leave you alone.  You may experience lonely times, but you are never alone.  We have a friend in Jesus.

“For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5)

If you have lost a loved one (spouse, child, close relative, friend, acquaintance), just know that you are not alone.  You may be experiencing great sadness because someone you loved dearly has moved away.  Just know that the LORD never leaves us.  Close friends may walk away, but Jesus never will.  He’s always right there by your side.  He will dry your tears and calm your fears. You are never alone. If you are going through a tough trial right now, I encourage you to pick up the Word of God.  Let Him lead you to passages that will surely comfort you.  The Lord understands your struggles.  Let Him heal your heart right now.
